Christian Tokyo

Overnight Tokyo

Celebrate Mass and visit St. Mary’s Cathedral. Continue to the Imperial Palace area, Asakusa and other cultural landmarks selected for the group’s pace and interests.

Tokyo to Akita

Overnight Akita

Travel north by flight or bullet train. Celebrate Mass at the Seitai Hoshikai convent and enter a quiet period of prayer at the site associated with Our Lady of Akita.

Our Lady of Akita

Overnight Tokyo

Spend the morning in prayer, Mass and reflection at the convent. Visit the chapel and surrounding grounds before returning to Tokyo later in the day.

Our Lady of Mount Fuji

Overnight Tokyo

Travel to Fujiyoshida for Mass and a visit to the Our Lady of Mount Fuji shrine and Rosary Path. Weather permitting, enjoy views of Japan’s sacred mountain.

Tokyo to Nagasaki

Overnight Nagasaki

Fly to Nagasaki. Celebrate Mass at St. Philip’s Church, then visit the Twenty-Six Martyrs Monument and Museum on Nishizaka Hill.

St. Maximilian Kolbe & Ōura

Overnight Nagasaki

Celebrate Mass at Hongōchi Church. Visit Kolbe’s monastery and museum, the Lourdes grotto and rosary walk, followed by Ōura Cathedral and the former seminary.

Unzen & Shimabara

Overnight Nagasaki

Visit the Unzen Hells martyrdom site, celebrate Mass at Shimabara Catholic Church and continue to the ruins of Hara Castle and the Holy Maria Kannon memorial.

Overnight Nagasaki

Journey by road and ferry into Amakusa. Visit Sakitsu Church and the coastal village where Christian faith endured in secret, with Mass arranged locally when available.

Peace & remembrance

Overnight Nagasaki

Visit Urakami Cathedral, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park and Hypocenter. Celebrate Mass and reflect on Nagasaki’s witness to forgiveness and peace.

Nagasaki to Hiroshima

Overnight Hiroshima

Hiroshima to Kyoto

Overnight Kyoto

Continue by bullet train to Kyoto. Celebrate Mass and explore Kiyomizu-dera, the lanes of Higashiyama and the historic Gion district.

Nara & Osaka

Overnight Osaka or Kyoto

Closing Mass & departure

Journey concludes

Gather for a closing Mass as flight timing permits, then transfer privately to Kansai International Airport. Tokyo departures and post-pilgrimage extensions can also be arranged.
